Palliative Care Advisory Group
The HPCAI Palliative Care Advisory Group surveyed Iowa health care providers in August 2011 to gain a baseline measure of palliative care services in the state. The online survey was distributed to hospital, hospice and palliative care CEOs/Administrators as well as nurse leaders in Iowa hospitals. The Lois Green Learning Community is an online network and resource for professionals in palliative care and hospice. Dr. Ann Broderick, director of palliative care at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics has started an Iowa group within the Community.
